Slow Magic - Youth Group
The announcement video for Slow Magic's second studios album. One of the first times we got to do extensive costuming according to character types that would come into play in several future Slow Magic productions, specifically shooting the album art for How To Run Away.
Our shoot got hit by the heaviest rainfall I've ever seen and we carried a cumbersome glide track all over town (This was before we made the switch to steadycam) but I love the result and how high-concept we got to be for this shoot.
Huge thanks to everyone who fought through the mud and the rain with us to make this production happen, and to our gorgeous cast, you guys are like an awesomely creepy nocturnal breakfast club.
"Nocturnal breakfast club" is now a staple in our aesthetic repertoire.
