Adobe MAX 2020

I was brought on by 4SP Creative, to take on the unique task of live editing the first ever entirely virtual Adobe MAX conference, during a global pandemic. This posed the unique challenge of having a socially distance team of 12, doing round the clock content turnover for the conference, in hermetically sealed hotel rooms.

Redundant day/night Producers, day/night Asset Managers, day/night Editors all being rotated out on-site at the Sofitel hotel in LA, adjacent to the Conference, communicating almost entirely remotely—As well as with a satellite team in Japan.

I was on the graveyard shift, cutting content all through the night to be broadcast-ready and aired early the next morning as part of the conference broadcast—free for all Adobe subscribers—which brought in an unprecedented influx of amateur creatives and aspiring artists who never had access to Adobe MAX in the past.

A highlight for me was cutting some of that year’s host Conan O’Brian’s footage—because cutting for comedic timing is something I especially enjoy and pride myself on doing well.
